Abstract: Numerous algorithms for analyzing water quality parameters in hydraulic networks are now available. These algorithms are based upon steady-state or dynamic hydraulic simulations. Three analytical methods in this paper are analytically evaluated for the same pipe network. Furthermore, two of these analytical methods are compared to an experimental model. The reliability of these algorithms is investigated and evaluated by analytical and experimental comparisons.
