Abstract: A three-dimensional (3D) hydrodynamic model of the San Juan estuarine system has been developed and is being applied to provide flow fields to a 3D water quality eutrophication model of the system. Preliminary results from a portion of a simulation period during June-August 1995 are presented. These results demonstrate that the model reproduces the basic observed behavior of the system. A full verification of the model is ongoing.
