The Influence of Fluvial Morphology on Minimum Instream Flow

Abstract: This paper presents a methodological approach estimating the minimum instream flow needed into the river, in order to protect water resources and fluvial habitat. This approach is based on the comparison between indexes of environmental suitability and the average flow characteristics, taking into account fluvial morphology.
