Abstract: We show, by the subsequent outlines of the bottom, the influence of the distance between two pits mined in a erodible bed of a flume. The phenomenon is studied during the filling up of the pits up to the dynamic equilibrium conditions of the bed are reached. We obtain the relationship distance between the two pits versus ratio of the filling times for the investigated experimental field. It is also available an analytical methodology to evaluate the time to fill up the pits.
