Abstract: The paper presents a random walk method for modelling the advective-diffusive transport of surface pollutants in coastal areas. The analysis of the phenomenon has been tackled assuming non-reactive solute and uniform advective transport. The resolutive equations, suitably dimensionless, give the values of the axial concentration and the dimensions of the polluting field.
