Abstract: Experimental work carried out at the UK Coastal Research Facility (UKCRF) is reported in this paper, and some typical results are presented and discussed. The experimental work considered both regular and irregular waves, and the associated wave-induced currents have been measured. Wave heights and set-up were measured usin g wave probes, while flow velocities were measured using an Ultrasonic Current Meter (UCM). The presented results agree with expectations and also reveal the complex character of flow fields associated with complex geometries.
