Abstract: The physical processes near a horizontal submerged plate applied beneath waves are very complicated. The process of particular interest for this work was the decomposition of waves passing the plate. It was found that the transformation of waves has no influence on the transmitted energy and that no transformation of wave frequencies occurs in the range of wave length where the largest flow beneath the plate was noticed.
