Abstract: What is the role of the Civil Engineer? Our role is to build the quality of life. But in building that quality of life, we as Civil Engineers must be the leaders in today’s engineered and constructed Projects around the world. Globalization is a word that should be in our everyday language and a word which all engineers must not only understand, but learn how to incorporate in our everyday business and professional lives. Our Mission as Civil Engineers is to ensure that there are no boundaries in how we build the quality of life.
