Abstract: An integrated ship spraying/icing model developed for a modern patrol vessel is presented. The results of the numerical simulations for several combinations of the ship transit, weather and ocean parameters are presented. The changes in the total ice load on the entire ship caused by the altered model inputs are discussed. We also discuss the effect of ship speed and course on the percentage contribution made by the ice load on the ship decks, superstructure, and masts and antennas to the total ice load on the entire ship.
