Abstract: Coastal zones necessitate efficient monitoring systems for assessing changes in water presence and area. Utilizing Sentinel-2 multispectral satellite images, the WORSICA web portal introduces advanced water indices (NDWI, MNDWI, AWEI, and AWEIsh) for real-time monitoring of Obidos Lagoon in Portugal. This platform offers critical insights for sustainable coastal management and risk assessment. Additionally, the integration of the Flood2Topo methodology facilitates topobathymetry retrieval in intertidal zones, enhancing understanding of coastal dynamics. By tracking water levels, identifying flood-prone areas, and evaluating ecological changes, WORSICA aids in formulating effective conservation strategies and sustainable resource management plans. Integration of temporal data improves the accuracy of topobathymetric models, empowering stakeholders to make informed decisions regarding coastal conservation and management. With its integrated features and advanced capabilities, WORSICA emerges as an essential tool for comprehensive coastal monitoring, contributing to long-term preservation of coastal ecosystems and resilience of coastal communities.
