Abstract: Due to the discharge of small hydropower ecological flow, the water regulation of the original power station has been changed. How to coordinate the relationship between water supply, irrigation, ecology and power generation has become an urgent problem to be solved. Based on the optimal operation method of large and medium-sized reservoirs, this paper puts forward the ecological flow scheduling method in line with the actual situation of small hydropower. By using the inverse time series method to reduce the differential storage capacity of functional water demand and ecological flow demand. The lowest water level line of ecological discharge and the limited water level line of power generation are delineated. Through the delineation of the “two lines”, this article improves the scientific and operability of ecological scheduling of small hydropower stations, guides the formulation of ecological flow scheduling programs of small hydropower stations, and provides references for the relevant work of small hydropower in China.
