Abstract: Viet Nam lies in the region of direct impact of sea level rise and climate change, especially in the East Sea where branches of Me Kong river run off. In the annual report on “Climate change and sea level rise in Viet Nam (2012)” MONRE has proposed 3 scenarios of sea level rise in the next 100 years viz. 60 cm (low emission scenario), 75 cm (medium emission scenario), 100 cm (highscenario). This study implements these 3 scenarios on a case studyof Nam Du deep sea port with researched structure is jetty structure. The paper focuses on the impact of waves and sea level rise on these two types of structures.
