The INH is an organisation focusing on excellence in applied research in hydraulic disciplines, guiding the needs and knowledge of the national environment to optimize the use of water resources. Our organisation’s activity takes place on the frontier of applied knowledge, and brings a solid knowledge of the state of the art in applied hydraulic research. Our mission is to develop services in the field of hydraulic engineering for the public and private sectors, through studies, projects and research, physical and mathematical modelling, calibrations and academic support, with the goal of improving the efficiency, safety, and maintenance of the infrastructure, in accordance with and with respect for the environment and the quality of life of the inhabitants of Chile.
