About

Our principal activities are teaching and research in hydraulic engineering and technical hydromechanics. We conduct research on river engineering, flood protection and natural watercourse development, the dimensioning of dikes, sealing or flood protection facilities, as well as on strains on revetments caused by ships in canals or by waves in coastal areas. In teaching, we offer a wide range of courses in German or English, as well as excursions to hydraulic engineering structures and current construction sites.
