Chinese Hydraulic Engineering Society (CHES) is founded as the first water association of modern China in April, 1931. It’s a nationwide, academic and nonprofit organization established by water professionals in China. It’s one of the most influential water organizations in China with the longest history, multitude disciplines and a sound organizational structure. CHES has been an active member of the World Water Council (WWC) since 2009.
