The Instituto de Mecánica de los Fluidos e Ingeniería Ambiental offers undergraduate, postgraduate, and updated teaching activities linked to the University of the Oriental Republic of Uruguay. It also carries out research and university extension tasks on issues related to Fluid Mechanics and Environmental Engineering, in many cases within the framework of agreements with national or private institutions, or through research and development projects with external financing. The Institute provides credit-granting courses for the Master's degree in Applied Fluid Mechanics, the Master's degree in Environmental Engineering, and the Master's degree in Energy Engineering.
