The IAHR Hellenic Young Professionals Network was established in April 2022 to bring together young researchers and professionals, working in the field of water resources. The early network composition numbers more than 20 members from Greek universities and companies, as well as PhD students. The goal of the Hellenic YPN is to facilitate interaction and collaboration among its members at national level, as well as with other YPNs and international networks. Key priority of the network is to foster experience and knowledge transfer on challenging water management problems, through active engagement of members in technical committees, working groups and activities of the IAHR. 

The main forthcoming activities for the newly established Hellenic YPN are to:

• Prepare a roadmap to increase interaction and collaboration between the members of the YPN

• Engage more people to increase the number of members at national level

• Increase digital visibility via social media

• Establish communication with the other YPNs

• Support the organisation of the 7th IAHR Europe Congress in Greece

• Organise workshops for knowledge sharing on water-related problems and state-of-the-art solutions
