BSc degree in Civil Engineering from the Polytechnic University of Catalonia, Spain (2006). MSc EuroAquae specializing in Hydroinformatics and Water Management (2012) from an Erasmus+ program composed by a consortium of Universities (University of Nice - Sophia; Brandenburg University of Technology Cottbus; Budapest University of Technology and Economics; Technical University of Catalonia; Newcastle University). PhD in Civil Engineering (2016) from a joint doctoral initiative between Polytechnic School of Lausanne and Technical University of Lisbon, focused on the experimental and numerical modelling of hydraulic transients in pressurized flow. Currently, Dr Ferras holds a Lecturer-Researcher position in the department of Environmental Engineering and Water Technology, IHE-Delft, in the field of Water Transport and Distribution.
