About

Marco Pilotti is full professor of hydraulics at the Università degli Studi di Brescia, where he leads the group of environmental hydraulics. Over the last 30 years he has been researching in the field of sediment transport, of shallow water equations and of the physics of deep lakes, as typical problems of the mountain region where he lives. Communicating to his students the interest for hydraulics and for environmental modeling is the primary purpose of his teaching activity.
