About

Michael Tritthartgraduated in civilengineering from the University ofInnsbruck, Austria, in 2000, and obtained adoctorate in technical sciences at ViennaUniversity of Technology in 2005. He thenjoined the University of Natural Resourcesand Life Sciences, Vienna as a seniorscientist, where he obtained a post-doctorallecture qualification for hydroinformatics andriver engineering in 2013. Throughout hiscareer, he has developed various numericalmodels in hydrodynamics, sedimenttransport and ecohydraulics. He was the former Chair of the IAHR Education and Professional Development Committee.
