About

Yonghui Zhu graduated in Water conservancy and hydropower engineering from Hohai University, China, in 1998, and obtained a doctorate in hydraulic engineering from Delft University of Technology in 2006. He is currently professor and director of the International Cooperation Department of the CRSRI. He is member of the executive committee of IAHR China Chapter. His research interests include flood protection and disaster mitigation, evolution and regulation of rivers and lakes, river modeling, etc.
