About

Luis Balairón studied Civil Engineering (1991) and completed a Ph.D. in hydraulic engineering at the Polytechnic University of Madrid (Spain) in 2005. He is a civil servant in the Spanish administration and at the present time is the Director of the Hydraulics Laboratory in the Centre for Hydrographic Studies in CEDEX. He is also an Associate Professor at the University of Salamanca since 1997
