Jaya Kumar Seelam is a coastal engineer working on coastal processes with emphasis on sediment transport, impacts of extreme events and climate change on coasts, environmental impact assessment, tsunami propagation and inundation, etc. He is well versed with nearshore field and laboratory investigations as well as numerical modeling of coastal processes.
