About
Motuma is a PhD student from the Hydrology and Hydrodynamics Department at the Institute of Geophysics, Polish Academy of Sciences in Warsaw, Poland Since October 1, 2020. He obtained his M.Sc. from the Addis Ababa University, Ethiopia, in Civil (Hydraulic) Engineering and B.Sc. from Arba Minch University, Ethiopia, in Water supply and Environmental Engineering. Motuma has teaching and research experience at the Wollega University, Ethiopia, before starting his PhD study. Currently, he is working on the project “Assessing Catchment Sediment Yield and Siltation Impacts on Reservoir Capacity under Land Cover/Use Changes: the Case Study of the Fincha Dam”, Ethiopia funded by NCN National Science Centre Poland under the supervision of Prof. Michael Nones.
