Professional Outlook and Achievements Overview My multidisciplinary academic background (BSc, BSc BE, MBA, MSc, PhD), diversified career traverses the nexus of providing strategic guidance and mobilizing necessary resources, as well as building alliances and partnerships, for the planning, development and execution of water resources management, climate change & sustainable mitigation strategies, nature based wastes treatment system , mycelium interventions for carbon sequestration to enhance to enhance soil fertility & biodiversity, Biochar production for soil fertilities. I have numerous national and international publications (including two national action plans –Pakistan, one special issue on arsenic mitigation and one book on wastewater –published by LAP, Germany. Active membership of more than 30 international professional organizations. As a on going process, till now , I have participated in 3541 international webinars (Details are attached on annexure-A, attached) on water resources management, climate change resilience building, nature based solutions for water and wastewater treatments, environmental management , mycelium( carbon sequestration ,) use of Biochar to improve soil fertilities to enhance crop yields and on water resources policy & planning, mainly organized by Australian Water School (AWS), AWRA, SSF, IWA, AGA, Contech engineering solutions, Orenco , natural resources & forestry, power engineering, Hydrocarbon processing and water on-line etc. , and resultantly received PDHs/certificates. I have 25 plus International research papers on water resources management, wastewater treatment and on environment management, published in various international journals. Till now (on-going process), I have reviewed 236 international research papers related to various water resources management, wastewater treatment, environmental management, ecosystem and impacts of climate change on water resources. I was declared best reviewer for the year of 2017 & 2018 by the journals ScienceDomain. In 2019, I wrote a paper on water resources management and mitigation measures and action planning to provide safe drinking water to the citizen of Karachi . Likewise, I am deeply involved in micro, macro watershed management- for area based rainwater harvesting & spate irrigation for Pothohar region of Punjab and Murree- Pakistan and sewage treatment through Hybrid constructed I have also built and led multi-disciplinary and multi-cultural professional teams ensuring full alignment of their output with the overall organizational strategic direction in transforming and restructuring of mine clear operation in Kuwait and water & sanitation agency (WASA) - Rawalpindi. With civil engineering background, I planned, designed, and got executed various prestigious buildings in Islamabad and Rawalpindi – National Defecnce University (NDU), Islamabad, DESTO Laboratories, and classified buildings & Infrastructures. In recognition of my meritorious services , I was warded & decorated with Tamgha-e-Imtiaz (Military) by the president of Pakistan in 2001 , besides various honors & awards. I have served in Pakistan army (corps of engineers) in Pakistan & aboard (First gulf war for mine clearance operation at Bubyan, Warbah, Islands at astride Abdali road – Kuwait) and got premature retirement in 2002 after serving for 26 years in the rank of Lieutenant Colonel.
