Lala graduated from National Pingtung University of Science and Technology with a BSc in Agriculture and a MEng in Soil and Water Engineering. She has a track record of leadership, team-working and organizational skills; with a strong background in environmental science, meteorology, hydrology, geology, climate change, soil and water conservation, and natural resource management; experience predicting soil erosion and sediment yield in watersheds. As a member of the Water Resource Management, Soil & Water Disaster Prevention Lab from 2020-2022, She developed my analytical skills and ability to read, manage and present data. She supported projects and research on soil erosion, climate change and natural disaster mitigation. She also published a conference paper on soil erosion. She is currently working as a support staff at the Ministry of Environment, Climate Change and Natural Resources, where she supports in the compiling, analyzing, and clarifying information, data, and research regarding environmental management and climate change. She assists in the reviewing of existing and novel climate change or environmental management legislation, regulations, policies, and practices to determine actual and potential environmental impacts. She is currently also virtually interning with the African Development Bank, where she assists in the research and extraction of relevant data, information and statistics from documents, reports, publications, online sources, and other sources. She prepares draft letters, reports and presentations in approved formats.
