Amir Noori is a PhD student in the Civil Engineering Department at the Faculty of Engineering, University of Ottawa, Canada. He obtained his MSc degree from Razi University in 2019. His MSc thesis was titled 'Development of Optimal Water Supply Plan Using Integrated Fuzzy Multi-Criteria Decision-Making Methods (Case Study of the Gamasiab Basin in Kermanshah Province, Western Iran)'. He was ranked as the top student in his graduating class for a Master's degree at Razi University. His fields of specialization and interest include Multi-Criteria Decision-Making, Optimization, Water Distribution Systems, Fuzzy Time Series, Water Supply Planning, and Hydrological Watershed Modeling. From 2018 to 2022, he contributed as a researcher to several industrial research projects at the Water and Wastewater Research Center and the Environmental Research Center at Razi University. The results from his research studies have been published in over 15 papers in international journals, earning him 201 citations and an H-index of 6. Additionally, he has delivered several presentations at national and international conferences and recently had eleven book chapters accepted for publication.
