Ing. John Kwame Tawiah is a trained Water Resources Engineer specializing in Hydrology and Hydrogeology. In 2018, he earned a Masters in Water Resources Engineering and Management from the Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology, Kumasi, Ghana. He had earlier obtained his BSc in Geological Engineering from the Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology (KNUST) in 2015. He has over five years of professional experience in both academia and industry. Ing. Tawiah has served as a research/teaching assistant at the Department of Geological Engineering, KNUST, where he was assigned to assist in teaching Hydrogeology, Hydrology, GIS, and Remote Sensing, and supervised undergraduates during lab and fieldwork. Additionally, he has worked with the Community Water and Sanitation Agency (CWSA) as a Water System Manager for Small Town Water Supply Schemes in the Ashanti Region of Ghana. Currently, he is a faculty member of the Civil Engineering Department, at Ho Technical University, where he lectures courses in Engineering Geology, Hydrology, Water Resources Engineering, Fluid Mechanics and Hydraulics at the undergraduate level.
