Abstract: Sewage discharged into the ocean is a common type of low-concentration sediment-laden jet. Suspended sediments within jet body would exhibit distinctive transport and deposition characteristics under coastal dynamics. Previous research has primarily concentrated on investigating the transport and deposition processes of sediment-laden jets in stagnant or steady flows, with limited attention given to such jets in the wave environment. The objective of this study is to pioneer the exploration of sediment-laden jet deposition patterns under wave conditions. Additionally, a Eulerian-Lagrangian two-phase flow models has been developed and validated as to quantitatively assessing deposition changes under varying wave conditions.
