The Mexican Institute of Water Technology (IMTA) is a decentralized public body that works to face national and regional challenges associated with water management, and to outline new approaches in technological research and development to our water resources so that we may allocate them in efficient and equitable ways among the different users. Mission: Produce, implement, and disseminate knowledge, technology, and innovation for the sustainable management of water in Mexico. Vision: We will be a world-class leading institution that fosters the transformation of the water sector and promotes the sustainable management of water resources in the country.
