She received an MSc in Physics (1984) and a PhD in Physics (1989) from the University of Zaragoza. She worked as postdoctoral researcher at the University of Reading during 1993 and 1994. Since 2010 she is a Full Professor in Fluid Mechanics at the Universidad Zaragoza, Spain. Research activity focused on the specific field of numerical models for efficient and accurate simulation in realistic cases with applications to engineering.
