José M. Carrillo is Master's degree in Civil Engineering from Universitat Politècnica de València (Spain) in 2009, and PhD from Universidad Politécnica de Cartagena (Spain) in 2014. Elected member of the Committee on Hydraulic Structures and the Committee on Education and Professional Development (EPD) in IAHR. Editor of the Revista Hidrolatinoamericana de Jóvenes Investigadores y Profesionales (Editorial: IAHR) since 2017, and co-editor of the IAHR NewsFlash Iberoamerica since 2019. Between 2012 and 2019 he was the president of the IAHR South East Spain Young Professionals Network. Currently he is the Student Advisor of the IAHR Spain Young Professionals Network.
