About
She is Associate Professor in Hydraulic Structures at the University of Brescia since 2015, member of the Academic Senate and Deputy Head of International Affairs at DICATAM (Dep. of Civil, Environmental, Architectural Engineering and Mathematics). Her research activity at DICATAM mainly focuses on sustainable urban drainage, real time flood forecasting and the effects of climate change on the availability and management of water resources. She is member of the Steering Committee of CSDU (national scientific association dealing with urban hydraulics). She recently coordinated the local research unit of the Horizon 2020-Swafs Scishops project. She coordinates WatShop, the science shop based at University of Brescia on “Sustainable water resources management, control and consumption in a changing climate” (www.watshop.it). She is also the coordinator of a starting Knowledge for Change Hub (https://www.unescochair-cbrsr.org/) in Brescia. She currently teaches Hydraulics and urban hydraulic infrastructures and Climate change adaptation and mitigation in engineering master programmes. She recently obtained the National Academic Qualification as Full Professor
