About

Damien Violeau has been working at Electricité de France (EDF) and at the Saint-Venant Hydraulics Laboratory (Ecole des Ponts ParisTech) since 1997. He is a senior scientist, specialized in environmental fluid mechanics with focus on numerical modeling, turbulence, water waves and coastal waterworks. He is Professor at Ecole des Ponts ParisTech and teaches Fluid mechanics at Ecole Normale Supérieure de Paris-Saclay.
